法國銀器咖啡壺 Antique French Napoleon III Sterling Silver Coffee Pot, Bird FinialAntiques: Silver:Tea / Coffee / Chocolate Pots A stunning 19th century French Napoleon III era sterling silver coffee pot, with guilloche body finely decorated with scrolling foliate and palmette lambrequin engraved borders, and high domed lid surmounted by a striking figural bird finial.The pot features an elegant swan neck spout and stately architectural handle, each clad with deeply chased acanthus motifs, and reticulated and pierced acanthus clad scroll feet. Ornate engraved cartouches, to front and rear, are monogrammed 'G.M'. Very finely crafted from the highest quality silver, it is stamped on body & lid with the French Minerve 950 mark, and maker's mark for Parisian silversmith DEBAIN & FLAMANT, active in 1864, rue du Temple, Paris. Excellent condition, with only light signs of usage.
